Isabella Ramirez, a sophomore at Bullard High in California, placed second in the Division 2 girls final at the Central Section Championships by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 19:02.37 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Ramirez helped Bullard earn eighth place as a team with 175 points, advancing to race Nov. 25 at the CIF State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park.
